CBSE Circular on Availability of Digital Academic Documents using “Face Matching Technology”

Availability of Digital Academic Documents using “Face Matching Technology”

CBSE pioneered in providing digital academic documents through its academic repository called “Parinam Manjusha” and DigiLocker.  As on now result data from 2004 to 2020 is available in the repository.  Approx. 12 crores digital academic documents are available in digilocker.  Digital Lockers in respect of all the students appearing for Board Exams are being opened in advance and their digital academic documents i.e. Marks Sheets, Migration Certificates and Pass Certificates are being pushed on the day of declaration of results. The credentials are being communicated on the registered mobile numbers of the students available with the Board. This is being done from last five years. The students with the incorrect mobile number have option to open Digilocker by giving Aadhar details. However, foreign students and students without Aadhar number are still facing the problem in opening of Digilocker.  For such students, state-of-art “Face Matching Technology” as an another option has been introduced to download their digital academic documents.

CBSE students will now be able to download their digital academic documents of class X and XII using “Face Matching Technology”. The application will capture a live photograph of the student and will match it with the photograph on the CBSE admit card already stored in repository.  Upon successful match, the certificate will be emailed to the student. This application is now available on “Parniaam Manjusha” and DigiLocker at  https://digilocker.gov.in/cbse-certificate.html
