74th Independence Day

The 74th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect, inspite of this pandemic situation with social distancing and preventive measures.
The Chief Guest, S.M.S.SIVANESAN B.Com,M.A., Committee Member of TNV, The Presided person Thiru A.NARAYANA MOORTHY M.Tech., Secretary of TNV, along with our beloved Principal and respected board members were escorted by the school Band, Scouts and Guides students.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the flag song. A Welcome address was rendered by Mrs.Sumathi, Teacher of English Department. Students of class 9 Jasmin Maria, Bharanidharan and Jeshna spoke about the unsung heroes of Independence by disguising themselves in their role. Mrs.Geetha HOD of English department & Mrs. Uma Eswari Teacher of Tamil department wished and rendered a short speech about patriotism & Independence. Thiru.M.Chellapa, committee member and the Chief Guest addressed the gathering and interacted with the audience.
The students who delivered speech, band team, the choir team and scouts and guides students were given a small gift as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution to the program.
The program concluded up with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Geetha ACO & HOD of English Department followed by the National Anthem.
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect to our country and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
