INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION [15.08.23]

77th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2023 in our school campus. The day started with the marching of our school RSP band followed by the chief guest Thiru. M G S. Baskar B.Sc, treasurer of Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya,Assistant Secretary, Principal and board members. Our school treasurer thiru.M G S .Bhaskar B.Sc hoisted the national flag. The Programme started with the flag song, Tamil Thai Vaalzhthu and prayer song sung by our school choir. Welcome address was given by our School SPL Noor Wajeeha of class XII .The chief guest Thiru.M G S. Baskar and Asst.secretary Thiru G.Rajamurthy M.A were honoured with the shawl and bouquet. After that, an awesome Tamil street play was performed by class XI students, stating the sacrifice of freedom fighters like Thirupur Kumaran, V.O.Chidambarampillai and Velu Natchiyar .A fabulous dance performance was given by our students stating the national symbols and especially about the great launch of CHANDRAYAN 3.Then Hindi patriotic song was done by primary students. English speech was delivered by Rakchana of class IX A and“Bommalattam”(puppet show) was done by our school children stating the bravery of Velu Natchiyar.Then the prize winners of this academic year were honoured and vote of thanks was proposed by Our school ASPL M. Adhitya of class XII. Finally the Programme ended with the national anthem and with great patriotic spirit.
