KAMARAJAR’S 117TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Perunthalaivar K.Kamarajar’s 117th birthday was celebrated on 15th July 2019 in our school campus. Our chief guest Mr. A. Narayana Moorthy M.Tech Committee member, Chennaivazh Thiruthangal Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai Dharma Fund and presided by Mr. G. Nagarajan D.Pharm, Committee member, Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya were welcomed by our school band along with our committee members, School Secretary and Principal.
The programme started with the prayer song by our school choir.
Mrs. C. Rajathi M.A.,T.P.T., B.Ed gave an enthusiastic welcome note for the gathering. The hero of the day was honoured by garlanding the portrait. Colourful cultural programmes were performed by our students. HOD of Physical Education Department, Mr. Kumar gave a valuable speech about the history of our kaala Gandhi.

The students who participated and won in various competitions were awarded. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs. V. Rufina Magdalene Priya M.A., M.Com., Dip. In Mont. ACO of KG department. These programmes helped the students to enhance the knowledge about karmaveerar Kamarajar’s victorious and simple life.
