As there was a desperate need of a CBSE which was a dream of the parents of this area, we with the vision to improve the educational quality of North Chennai, we started “Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya” on 14.06.2010 with 500 students. This school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Our goal is to make the students of this school to be recognized all over the world by facilitating them with knowledge, attitude, skill, social and moral values. This would enhance the students Personality development , physical, psychology and social capabilities. All these are effectively achieved through providing advanced technology in the classrooms and well equipped Labs, Library and also through professional coaching in sports, creative and personality enhancement activities.

To provide holistic and progressive education in tune with the latest development in education. TNV educational society was established under Chennai Vazh Thiruthangal Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai Dharma Fund in 1987. With the noble idea of service in 1997 – August Thiurthangal Nadar College for Men was started as self financing institution with five different Art & Science courses. It was converted into co-educational institution from the academic year 2002-2003. The strength of the college students are upto 2530 with 12 different courses.

To impart human excellence through competence, conscience and compassion, we started Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya in 2010 with five prolonged approach (viz) knowledge, attitude, skills, social values, moral values (kassm)
