An American writer, Sidney Sheldon rightly said, “Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.”
As per the quote and to give importance to the Library, TNV observed a National Library Day on 12th August with great enthusiasm. As we all know Libraries play a vital role in the development of a student, teacher as well as the school. S.R Ranganathan who is known as ‘Father of Library Science in India was the first person who identified the real need of libraries and library science education in our country.
In memory of Dr S R Ranganathan, on his birthday our school celebrated, LIBRARY Day and in our school assembly Class IV and V students presented a skit and a song to elicit the importance of reading.
