Proverb activity with paired states

CBSE has organized ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ activities to carry out a structured engagement with one another in spheres of language, literature, cuisine, festivals, cultural events, tourism etc. In that way our state Tamil Nadu was paired with Jammu & Kashmir. In our school, for class IX, we have chosen Tamil – Kashmiri and English proverb activity.

Students were asked to don in their state wise costumes.

15 proverbs from each language carrying same meaning was delivered by the students.

This activity helped the students to enhance, interact and promote mutual understanding between people of different states and also strengthen the idea of unity in diversity. They also learnt the Kashmiri proverbs with overwhelmed patriotic feeling.
