ENGLISH LINGUA FEST ‘19 – 20.06.2019

English Lingua Fest’19 was celebrated in an outstanding manner. The board members Mr. M.G.S. Baskar B.Sc., Asst. Secretary of Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya, Mr. A.Pakkiaraj B.A., Committee Member of Thiruthangal Nadar College, G. Rajamurthy M.A ., Committee Member of Thiruthangal Nadar College, Mr. M.Selvakumar, Committee Member of Thiruthangal Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai Dharma Fund, graced the occasion with their presence.

The program started with a welcome song to give melodious welcome to the audience and dignitaries. The host of the program dressed up as Beauty and the beast and Tom and Jerry. They fascinated the audience in their splendid interaction. The welcome address was rendered by Raunak Fathima of IX std. The illustrious Chief guest Mr. M.G.S Baskar B.Sc., Assistant Secretary of TNV unveiled the “Rapacious Reader” Badges. Then followed by cultural program.

Students performed Ball room dance where magnetizing characters like Romeo & Juliet, Alladin & Jasmine, Peter Pan, Harry Potter, Cindrella, Tarzan, Bheem and Chutki mesmerized the crowd and blasted the stage with their performance. Powerpoint presentation by Dhanush Karthik of VIII Std made the audience to understand, how English language is tricky and fishy. The sonnet recitation with perfect modulation by Aadhithya of VIII std captivated the spectators’ mind. “Sports Commentary” by Aashish and Vasanth of VIII std took the viewers to the cricket stadium and raised their cricket fever.

Shakespeare’s play “King Lear” was staged by a group of TNV actors and actresses. They moved everyone into tears. The puppet show “Technology a useful servant but a dangerous master “ gave the message to the students that they should limit the usage of technology and spend quality time with family and friends. The program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Pooja Varma of IX std.

All the cultural fastened the audience to their seats and made them to enjoy as well as realize the importance of English language in today’s world
