Road Safety Awareness Programme

Road Safety Awareness Programme was conducted on 14.11.2017 from 2.30 – 4.00 pm for the class VI & VII. The Programme was hosted by Mr. Thiruvengadam Assistant Commissioner of Police. He addressed the rules and regulations to be followed when driving a vehicle. He highlighted the importance of wearing helmet and the need of Insurance policy. Then Mrs. Shanmuga Priya Deputy Commissioner of Police began her speech with her Children’s day wishes. She motivated that all children should have aim and work towards the aim. She insisted that children should contribute to Swachh Bharat program. Finally drawing competition was conducted on the topic road safety for 40 Students. Among them, nine of the children received prizes for their best presentation.
