The National Mathematics Day is observed on December 22nd each year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Great Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The main objective behind the celebration is to create awareness among people about the importance of mathematics for the development of humanity.
Every year numerous educational events are held in our school.
This year Department of Mathematics conducted various activities on the theme of “Joy of Learning Mathematics”.
From Class 3 to 9 and 11 students were actively participated and gain problem solving skills. It helps to strengthen reasoning skills and critical thinking.
In the Morning assembly, Shaik Juvairiya Thasleem of 8 A, gave a brief speech about National Mathematics Day.
Followed by, Students from class 3 to 9 and 11 enjoyed the power point presentation which was created by Sudharson C of XI-1A2 which includes the life history of Srinivasa Ramanujam,his work towards mathematics and his contributions.
Day ended with lot of joy, fun, and happiness.
