TNV’s ANNUAL SPORTS MEET – 2026

Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya proudly hosted its Annual Sports Meet 2026 on 31st January 2026 (Saturday) at the Babu Jagjeevan Ram Sports Complex, Tondiarpet, Chennai – 81, from 9.00 a.m. onwards.
The grand event was organized with great enthusiasm by the Management, Principal, Staff, and Students of TNV. The day began with an auspicious Invocation followed by Flag Hoisting, symbolizing unity and sportsmanship. The ceremonial March Past, were Olympic Torch Run, and Oath Taking reflected the discipline and dedication of our young athletes.
We deeply honoured by the gracious presence of our esteemed Chief Guests: V. Baskaran, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Washermenpet, Chennai – 19 & Colonel Rajesh Kumar, Officer Commanding, 1(TN) R & V Squad, NCC
The event was presided over by Dr. A. B. Manimaran, MD, Managing Director, Sri Tanisha Nakshathra Multispeciality Hospital & President, Thiruthangal Nadar Medical Foundation.
The Chief Guests inspired the gathering with their motivating address and officially declared the Sports Meet open. The Annual Sports Report highlighted the achievements and milestones of our budding sports stars.
Students showcased remarkable talent and teamwork through various track and field events, demonstrations, and competitions. The energy, enthusiasm, and sportsman spirit displayed throughout the day were truly commendable.
The programme concluded with Prize Distribution, Lowering of the Flag, Vote of Thanks, and the National Anthem, marking the successful completion of a memorable sporting celebration.
The Annual Sports Meet 2026 was indeed a vibrant celebration of strength, perseverance, discipline, and unity — leaving lasting memories for students, staff, and parents a like.
