13th ANNUAL SPORTS MEET – 29.01.2025

On the 29th of January, our school hosted its 13th Annual Sports Meet, at CPT Stadium. It was a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The chief guest for the day was Mr.T.Sadasivam, Asst. Commissioner of Police, DAVC (Directorate of Vigilance & Anti- Corruption) and the program was presided by Thiru. A. D. Subbaiah, Secretary of Chennaivazh Thiruthangal Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai Dharma Fund. The day started off with the lovely rendition by the choir to pay salutations to the Lord Almighty. The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag & School Flag. Mrs.Mahalakshmi, HOD of Science Department welcomed the gathering followed by the March Past, a highly competitive event where the four houses eyed for the first place. The Lewis House received the Winner Trophy in March Past- followed by Gabriel and Denis. The Olympic Torch was lit by the Chief Guest & was carried over by the Sports Champions of our school and finally handed over to our School Sports Captain Master Sharukesh. The team of Captains & Asst. Captains took the Oath lead by our School Sports Captain. The Chief Guest declared the Sports Meet open and addressed the gathering by suggesting strategies to strengthen the moral values to the students. Mrs. Maria Pastina, Incharge of Physical Education Department highlighted the achievements of the students in sports for the academic year 2024-2025. The audience next witnessed various displays symbolizing alternative sources of energy. The track events made way for the competiveness among the students which soared through the roof. At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Harvey House emerged as the Overall Champion of the year- 2025. The program ended with the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Velvizhi, HOD of Social Science Department. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
