INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION-15.08.2024

On 15th August 2024, 78th Independence Day was celebrated in our school campus. The day started with the Marching of our school NCC cadets and RSP band followed by the Chief Guest Vice president of Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya Thiru. Pichaikani ,Vice president of Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya, Presiding person Thiru M G S Baskar,Treasurer of Thiruthangal Nadar Vidhyalaya, Board members, Principal and Vice-Principal. The National flag was hoisted by Thiru. Pichaikani sir. The Programme started with the flag song and Tamil Thai Vaazhthu. Harshitha of Class XII A1 Welcomed the gathering. Then, The Chief guest Thiru. Pichaikani sir and Thiru.M G S Baskar sir were Honoured with the shawl. Prize winners were honoured with prizes by the board members.

Thiru.Pichaikani sir greeted the gathering and Dr. Kadhiresan sir gave an interactive speech to the gathering.

The Cultural events started with the Tamil speech by Kanishka of VIII B. Followed by “Bommalattam” (Puppet show) of class VI-VIII, ‘The HindiParody’ was enacted by AbdurRahman,IV D and Mohammed Aahil, V C and finally the Dance with the theme of ‘Culture of Tamil Nadu and Awareness about usage of plastics’ was performed by the students of Middle school.

Then, Vote of thanks was proposed by Priyadharshini XII A1. The programme concluded with the National Anthem and with great Patriotic spirit.
